A few more things
-
Family man
I’m married to the delightful Laura (she may read this). We have one remarkable daughter, one ginger pussy cat, three chickens and nine Neon Tetra fishes. All of which keep me on my toes!
-
Keep it simple
I’m a firm believer in living a simple life. For me this means being self-sufficient, debt-free and keeping my possessions to an absolute minimum – I repair or recycle whenever possible.
-
Keep on learning
I may have a BA (Hons) degree in Art and Design but my natural curiosity has led me to learn a lot of extra skills, including large-format printing, 3D modelling and animation and video editing.
-
Green fingers
Our family allotment keeps us out of mischief for most of the year. Growing our own food is a lot of work but our fruit and veg is arguably far tastier than that of the supermarkets.
-
Kayaking
Living in Eastbourne does have its advantages. In the summer months, whenever I get the chance, you’ll find me kayaking either off the coast of Eastbourne, Pevensey Bay or the Cuckmere river.
-
Head of Graphics
Before setting up my own business I was Head of Graphics at West End – an international events partner for global brands. I led the creative team and managed our print and digital output.
-
Snowboarding
I learnt to snowboard in my twenties. Since then I’ve had the good fortune to have ridden many slopes including Whistler, Cypress Mt., Grouse Mt., Kapurn and Zell am See. Oh and one Olympic halfpipe!
-
Creature effects
I once considered a career in creature and character effects. I learnt all the traditional model making techniques, sculpting in Plasteline clay, fibreglass mould making and casting in foam latex.
